Developing a Brand on a Budget
Your brand is not a product.
Your brand is you and without you, there would be no business.
Customers are attracted to the interaction and the personality behind what you are offering. So the question becomes, what are you doing to create an experience for your customers?
I built my brand with $300 and a dream.
I am going to share with you how I have been able to build my brand with low investment.
Create Content
Content is the backbone of your brand. What do you have to offer your followers and potential customers?
Phones these days have amazing cameras and free apps such as Lightroom make it really easy to give photos a professional finish.
Use social media to your advantage
We are very lucky that social media and blogging sites are completely free for businesses. I don’t pay for promotions, I simply engage with my followers and potential followers to the point that we start a conversation on social media. Create that personal connection with your followers to allow them to trust you.
Educate your audience
Start a blog. Make a video. People love to watch how-to videos! Don’t be afraid of someone stealing your idea or your technique. No one can do it like you and your audience will know that.
Build a brand by creating memorable experiences, sharing rich content, and just by being you! Your followers want that sense of a real person behind the product. Creating a community and a sense of belonging will drive your brand much further than fancy advertising.
(& If you are wondering, the $300 I spent went to creating a website that could host all of the features I needed)
