Stop Comparing Your Journey

Often you will see entrepreneurs who you have connected with post about their big wins and successful launches and it begins to set in doubt.

We compare ourselves to others & everyone is guilty of it but as a business owner, it is important that you focus on your goals before the doubt overcomes you.

When it comes to your business, put those blinders up and focus on YOUR BUSINESS that is unique to YOU.

I know, I know, it’s a lot easier said than done. 

Someone can do the exact same thing as you in the exact same way as you but unless it is you, it won’t have the same effect on people. 

Focus on where you are going and why.

Affirm your vision weekly and plan around it. I am a firm believer in vision boards. Whenever I doubt myself or lose sight of my original goal, I look back and see why I started this.

Know your mission and place in the world. Like any relationship, it is important that you know yourself fully and accept yourself, flaws and all. In business, if you are not confident and know your strengths and weaknesses, it will consume you.

Believe in yourself. You should always be your #1 cheerleader. If you cannot say confidently “this is my business” you will never fully believe you can do this. Own your craft.

Celebrate success and failures. Yes, we all want successes but without failure, we would never learn about ourselves or about our craft. Every time I fail, I am able to take a step back and reassess from a different angle. 

Entrepreneurship is a personal journey among all. It shows great discipline and a drive like no other. It is unique to only you.

Don’t let other people’s perfect Instagram version of their life fool you. Just keep doin’ you.
