4 Time Saving Tips for Business Owners

As a small business owner, we are generally a one person show so our time is pulled in many different directions. Finding small but effective ways to save time throughout our day so that we don’t feel so run-down makes a huge impact in our mood and overall mental health.

Here are 4 effective time saving tips

  1. Complete the small stuff first
    When you complete small, shorter tasks first, you are gaining momentum off of those little wins. You will feel unstoppable.

  2. Set time limits on longer tasks
    If you have a large task that could take up your entire day, set a time limit so that you can accomplish as much as possible without feeling like you wasted your day accomplishing nothing.

  3. Use your time intentionally
    You have 5 minutes in-between tasks? Jump on Instagram and send out introductory DMs. Use all the small pockets of time intentionally to keep the momentum going. Once you take a break, it will be hard to keep going.

  4. Write a to-do list
    If you’ve been here a while, you know that I LOVE my to-do list. It helps me stay focused on those set tasks for the day and the satisfaction of crossing things off is unmatched. Stay focused using a to-do list each day and reassess at the end of each day.
