How to Deal With Negativity

This week was WILD.

I went live on Instagram Tuesday at 3pm like I always do.

I had someone request to go live with me, which I encourage because I want to talk to my community.

WRONG.

It was a troll.

I was so embarrassed that this man was yelling at me — some of which was not even business related.

I was not upset about what he was saying to me, I was upset that he caused a scene on my Instagram Live for my followers to see and he ruined a video that I would have saved and published as an IGTV.

So the big question:

What do you do when a troll or someone posts negative comments

STAY CALM. In my case, with a troll, I knew the guy just wanted to see me get flustered. He was not following me, he just wanted to say mean things. I just simply answered , “thank you for your comments” with a smile and ended the live.

In some cases, this might be an upset customer who you have actually had interactions with. If they just left a comment, DM them to try to understand their point of view and learn from what they are communicating to you to fix the issue and learn for future business transactions.

You also need to remember that one person does not dictate how the rest of the world views you and your product. Do not let one bad review or comment hold you back from making your business succeed.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌🏻 so go out there and kick some troll butt!
