Photography Tips for Product Shots

A photograph says a thousand words… especially when it comes to trying to sell your product.

When new businesses are starting out, I notice that they struggle with creating eye-catching photographs.

I have some simple tips to create visually engaging photographs to take your product shots to the next level.

• Take photos in a very well lit room, with lots of natural light

• Never take photos at night using ceiling lights or lamps - it creates a dim yellow tint

• Do not take photos in direct sunlight

• Invest in a tripod and ringlight

• Use a mix of textures and colors to create depth

• Invest in props (they’re tax deductible!)
